Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how the mobile application "Minority Rules" (the "App") handles user information.
1. Information We Collect
- Anonymous authentication ID: A unique ID auto-issued by Firebase Authentication. It contains no personally identifying information.
- Nickname: A display name freely chosen by the user. Real names are not required.
- In-game data: Scores (weekly / total), vote history, and text of questions you submitted.
- Linked account information (optional): When you link your account with Google or Apple, the provider's user ID and email address are stored. We do not use the email address to contact you. You can unlink at any time from the Profile screen, which returns you to anonymous authentication only.
- Advertising information: Google AdMob may collect device identifiers (IDFA / Android Advertising ID), approximate location, and other device information for ad delivery. On iOS, you can choose whether to allow tracking via App Tracking Transparency. If you decline, only non-personalized ads are shown.
- Purchase history: For in-app purchases (question ticket), Apple / Google returns a transaction ID which we use server-side to grant the entitlement. We do not receive payment details such as credit card numbers.
- Report and block information: When you report a post, we store the target post ID, the reporter's and author's user IDs, the report reason, and any optional comment, and use them to review and act on objectionable content. When you block another user, we store the blocked user ID and use it only to hide that user's posts from your feed.
- Push notification preference: To let you know when a new question goes live (including both player-submitted questions and questions the system posts automatically), the App asks the device OS for notification permission. Delivery uses Firebase Cloud Messaging topic subscriptions and stores no per-device notification token on our servers. Notifications are on by default, but your on/off preference is stored only on the device and can be changed anytime from the Profile screen or your device settings.
2. Purpose of Use
- Providing core game features (voting, tallying, rankings, question-posting entitlement)
- AI moderation of submitted questions (see below)
- Sending push notifications announcing new questions (optional, can be turned off)
- Detecting and responding to abuse and spam
- Statistical analysis for service improvement (in a non-identifying form)
- Serving advertisements
3. Third-Party Sharing
We do not share information with third parties in general. The following service providers process information to the extent necessary to provide their functions.
- Google (Firebase): Authentication, database, serverless functions, scheduling, and push notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging). Data is stored in Google's asia-northeast1 (Tokyo) region. On iOS, notification delivery uses Apple's Push Notification service (APNs).
- Google (Gemini API): Submitted question text is sent to Gemini for AI moderation. Gemini processes the text to return a judgment.
- Google (AdMob): Information required for ad delivery is processed by Google. See Google's policy for details.
- Apple: Only when you sign in with Apple.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
Your account and the associated in-game data are retained until you delete them. You can delete your data anytime from the App at Profile > Delete Account. If you have already uninstalled the App, see the Account Deletion page or contact support@fujibit.com.
Within 14 days of a deletion request, the server-side account, user document, unresolved questions, vote history, block list, and any linked provider email are permanently removed. Closed-question text remains as part of game history, but the author information is anonymized.
5. Children's Privacy
The App is intended for users approximately 12 years of age and older. Users under 13 should use the App with parental consent.
6. Your Rights
To request disclosure, correction, or deletion of your information, please contact support@fujibit.com.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy as needed. Material changes will be announced in the App or on this site.
